Southwold Restaurants

We went for the Nutcracker afternoon tea, which was absolutely wonderful. The selection of sandwiches, savouries & scones was plentiful and everything was delicious. We couldn’t manage any of the cakes so brought those home to enjoy later on. Would definitely book again as it’s a lovely treat and great value for money. We even got to see the Assembly House made out of gingerbread- a masterpiece. Thank you to all the staff for a memorable treat which was really special.

So wonderful to be back in the fresh new Sole Bay Fish Restaurant in Southwold. Food as fresh and good as ever together with lovely attentive service, made for a great lunch which will, no doubt, be repeated very soon.

We loved our visit. From start to finish we were very well looked after. The duck curry was amazing. We had the festive snowman for desert. It was like a work of art. So many layers to it. It was a shame to it. But oh so glad we did ! We have visited many of the Ivy venues. The Norwich one is by far our favourite. It feels comfortable and friendly.
