   First time at Ocean Prime and we were impressed with everything. We could only get a reservation for a high top table in the bar, which we normally have a booth, but it was ok. The chairs were not the most comfortable for our almost 2 hour dinner. The food was very tasty in spite of it taking a little long to get it. The pretzel bread was awesome and we had to have more! We sampled some appetizers, the goat cheese ravioli and smoked gouda tater tots. Both were yummy. Mom had some lobster bisque soup and the cobb salad (I sampled both and were delicious). Dad had French onion soup and Lobster linguine. He enjoyed both but had to take some home as he was full. My brother had a spicy sushi roll and jalapeño au gratin potatoes for his entre and I sampled the au gratin and it was good. I do not do sushi but he really enjoyed it and he used to be a chef. I tried the Florida grouper with lobster, gnocchi and peas and it was very tasty and filling. Sadly no room for dessert.

   A Night to Remember at Ocean Prime Tampa Last night, Danielle and I had an unforgettable experience at Ocean Prime Tampa, and I can confidently say that this is what dining should be. We opted to sit at the bar, which turned out to be the perfect choice. From the moment we arrived, the energy in the room was electric yet sophisticated, filled with both engaging guests and an incredibly attentive staff who made us feel like we were part of something special. We started with the truffle popcorn—simple yet indulgent, the perfect opening bite. What followed was a salad so fresh and vibrant it was out of this world—each bite bursting with flavor and precision. Then came the star of the night—the steak. Perfectly cooked and paired with three incredible sides, it was an experience in itself. The portions were generous enough that we even had leftovers to take home, but every bite made it hard to stop eating. What elevated this experience beyond just great food was the exceptional service. The bartenders and servers weren’t just attentive; they were engaged, charismatic, and passionate about what they do. They brought the Cameron Mitchell experience to life, making sure every guest felt valued and immersed in the Ocean Prime atmosphere. If you haven’t been to an Ocean Prime, you haven’t been to a restaurant that truly cares. From the ambiance to the hospitality to the flawless execution of every dish, it’s an experience worth savoring. We’ll absolutely be back!

   It was phenomenal. My boyfriend and I went for our first time and highly recommend. Our server was Casey and she was outstanding! Very attentive we loved her! Food was very delicious especially the calamari! One of the best I have tried in my life! Will definitely be back for more!

   We had great service however the food was only ok. Ordered the lobster bisque and it was extremely salty. The sushi I ordered was bland.

   Good food. Especially liked the butter cake and the creamed spinach. Cocktails were very good. We had reserved a booth but were told the only thing available was a high top. Host blamed that on Open Table.

   It made our Valentine’s Day fabulous. Our server, Nate (I believe) was great. The flaming drink was spectacular! A time to remember forever. Even our bus service was sweet and timely. Highly recommend it

    We had a great experience. Service and food was great. Definitely recommend anyone to go and have a beautiful romantic dinner. I will be going back!
