Olio Pizzeria is an upscale-casual pizzeria with salumi bar/wine bar/full bar which was inspired by the myriad neighborhood pizzerie and enoteche found around the corner from just about every piazza in Italy. This idea began to take shape before Alberto and Elaine Morello even opened Olio e Limone Ristorante, their fine dining Italian restaurant next door. Wine bars serving boutique salumi and formaggi are ubiquitous in Italy, as is a regionalism which the Morellos are excited to share with you. Sicily is an emerging powerhouse, and touches of Sicilian food and wine delight their guests. You’ll also find exciting tastes from Campania and other emerging regions on their menus, wine and beer lists. Takeout available. Buon appetito!

    Great place for a casual meal in a cosy indoor space. We visited on a Friday night at 6 and the place was full. Fortunately we had booked a table and were promptly seated. We shared the olive trio to nibble on while we waited and enjoyed a rosso di Montalcino. We then shared a generous chopped salad and a special pizza offering, the Wueen Margarita. Food and wine were delicious, the atmosphere was convivial, and the service was excellent.

    Everything we ordered was delicious! Cauliflower, Favorita Salad, and an Umbra pizza. Lalo margaritas were great too. But the best of all, the butterscotch pudding! Oh my! Will be back soon!

    We had the pasta with pink sauce and it was delicious, as it was the seafood pizza. 🤩 We had a lovely time at this cute and full of character restaurant. Friendly and informative staff as well, thanks!

    Olio pizzeria never disappoints. It’s always our go to after a wonderful performance at the ensemble Vic Theatre . I would like to point out that when I booked a table, the OpenTable site showed only one reservation available and that was for 4pm. It worked for us as we had gone to a matinee However, when we left the restaurant, it was almost empty. This has occurred before. It is a great disservice to the restaurant if people think there are no tables available and go elsewhere.

    The Umbra pizza (truffle mushroom) and fig/arugula salad were divine. Our only complaint was the hostess turned us away at 7:15p saying it was an hour wait and they were fully booked; but, when I went online to make an 8p rez there was a 7;30p reservation available and the restaurant had clearly just experienced a massive turnover. Oh well, at least we still got to eat there. As far as the ambiance....it is so dated, but if you don't care about that definitely go for the pizza...and barrel aged Manhattan.
