   We were so taken back about the lackluster service and the food was awful. The meatballs tasted like bag meatballs from the frozen food section and the bruschetta had canned tomatoes on top and hardly any seasoning . Very disappointing.

   I’ve dined at Onesto a handful of times over the years. Its always good, not great. Today I grabbed a last minute lunch reservation which was great. Our server was friendly & explained all the items on the menu. The stand out dishes were the beet salad, the meat & cheese board& the rigate alla vodka. Unfortunately, the kitchen seemed to get really backed up & our food took forever to come. We were there from 12:45-2:45 with much of the time spent waiting for courses to arrive. When we finally got our mains, 3/5 were very very under seasoned and some components were cold. We asked for salt and the server had to bring a container of salt to sprinkle on the dish with a spoon. At that point, we just wanted to get out of there so we weren’t going to send the cold food back. Overall, an ok meal. Wouldn’t rush back.

   We absolutely love this place! The menu changed for winter and the new additions were wonderful! We enjoyed the calamari and charcuterie board as appetizers, the fussili pasta and short ribs were fantastic! Service was spot on! Thank you again for a wonderful evening!

   Restaurant crowded seemed understaffed. Pasta with mushrooms bland. No truffle flavor. Asked for pepper did not received. Just moved 2 blocks away. Wanted to like restaurant

   Staff & service were decent but food was mediocre at best. Crab cake was more hint of crab with some breading. The lobster mezzaluna was not good. The black garlic balsamic tasted weird and the very little amount of lobster tasted like imitation. Ended with the seasonal cheesecake which was pumpkin pie. It was neither a good cheesecake nor a good pumpkin pie

    The service was great, the food was presented well and tasted above average. I was surprised to see that the menu did not have several of the Italian dishes you might expect. No lasagna or chicken parmigiana on the menu. Two of my favorites that I enjoy.
