Osteria translated in Italian literally means "a place where the owner hosts his guests." At Osteria Cucina Rustica we follow in that tradition. Life long friends Steven Botta and Angelo Bongiovanni have collaborated to design and recreate an authentic Osteria. A warm atmosphere along with impeccable service and family recipes make for an unparalleled dining experience.
We begin with the freshest ingredients of the highest quality all prepared to order using family recipes passed down from generation to generation. This is a great NYC style restaurant in a small suburban town. Food, ambiance and service were first class. Best Pork Chop I've ever had, and also enjoyed my wife's Pappardelle with mushrooms... but you better like mushrooms.

The food and atmosphere is top tier. I felt as though I was enjoying my grandmothers cooking all over again. The atmosphere is warm and comforting.

First of all everybody who works there this night could not have done better food was excellent especially for the price but I couldn't even have a conversation with my wife on our 25th anniversary very disappointing with that I guess we could have refused where we sat and ask for a different seat

Great Italian food in an upscale neighborhood restaurant. The restaurant can be noisy at times as it is quite popular. It has a full bar and a bar scene as well. Cocktails are good and there is a great wine list. We opened with an appetizer of calamari and shrimp, lightly breaded and served in a Fra Diavolo sauce. The seafood was perfectly cooked, the sauce had a kick, but not too spicy, and it was big enough for four people. For entrees, my wife had the Pollo Rustica, roasted chicken over polenta with a sausage and mushroom sauce. I had a Veal Chop milanese. Both were outstanding, perfectly cooked and the portions were large. We took a pass on dessert as we were full.

We went for our anniversary and were disappointed. For the price of the food, we expected something really good. The martini was also very foamy and the filet was average, along with the lobster. We were very let down by the overall experience and were also placed right by the bar and a trash can. After all the hype and seeing even the cast members of the Jersey Shore go there, we expected a lot more. It was overall disappointing.

This was our second visit and we introduced friends and everyone was very happy. The aroma that greets you as you walk in sets the tone that the food will be delicious. Many specials as appetizers and main courses. It might be easier if they were written. We shared sliding and zucchini flowers to start. Entrees were chicken franchise, sea bass (which i think was the winner), pappardell with mushrooms and spaghetti cacao de Peppi. Lots to go home as portions are very generous. Too stuffed for dessert. For us, this place has been quite the find.
