Pacific Rim Bistro offers a vibrant dining experience with "fantastic food" and "friendly staff." The menu delights, especially the "amazing sushi" and "secret star" Brussels sprouts. Was not able to even check in, the restaurant was so behind. Stood in a giant crowd by the door, with other folks complaining that had much earlier reservations they’d been waiting for and no host in sight. Waited forever and finally just left hungry. Why are you even taking reservations??

Good was great. Service was horrible. We never got our drinks even after the food was delivered. It took 30+ minutes to get our check from the waiter so we could leave. They clearly did not have enough staff to manage the full restaurant during the Atlanta Mart.

Okay, where to start… I will start with the good. The food was fantastic. Get the Brussel sprouts. Do it. Our waitress was sweet. It was not her fault that this restaurant was SEVERELY UNDER STAFFED!!! Two waitresses for the entire restaurant , not kidding. So our reservations were made a month ahead of time. We arrived 20 minutes early. The manager/owner/seating host located our reservation. He then told, rudely I’ll add, our group of three that he had a reservation coming at 7:45, we would need to leave by then. (Told us we had 1 hour and 20 minutes) We were all in shock and agreed, because what else could we say at 6:25 at night in Atlanta. We sat down and after waiting 20 minutes, a waitress came to get our drink and appetizer order. It took about 15 or so minutes to get our drinks( we then ordered our food) about 25 minutes before we got our appetizers and one was wrong. At this point we are in 45 minutes of our “you have 1 hour and 20 minutes “. Instant stress which made it very hard to enjoy our meal. Our food arrives to our table and we asked that the second appetizer be cancelled because we now have our food. We start eating and they bring the appetizer anyway. Our table hasn’t been served a refill on our water at any point in the night so far. Two of our three, are completely out. We had to ask for water. We have now been here one hour and 30 minutes. We sit and wait and wait for our check after finally get the attention of a random worker, he asks the owner/manager/seating host to get it. The food was fantastic. The Brussel spouts are the secret star of the show. They alone, will be why I would book here again.

Tempura batter was a bit heavy, but vegetables and shrimp perfectly cooked, for bite and flavour. Chicken teriyaki was good. Nice sauce, no big issues with chicken nor vegetables. Chicken was not very warm. Fried bananas dessert was a miss. Left the bananas and enjoyed the ice cream. Very friendly and attentive service, despite restaurant being packed. Not too expensive and felt like a happening place, full of trade show attendees.

We always enjoy our visits to Pacific Rim. They’re so accommodating and even prepared soft shelled crab curry which is no longer on their menu. Always fresh and delicious! Thanks!

We had 4 people asked to split check three ways noticed they added tip which was never told and when questioned didn’t clarify ….
