- TTSouth Carolina •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI first dined at Tamarind in 2000 or 2001, pre 9/11. They were at a different location then--smaller but also wonderful. This time at the Tamarind I was delighted by the same levels of hospitality and care, and I was impressed by the excellent staff who waited on each table. The food is spectacular! Try as many of the dishes as you can. I went for the tasting menu. The scallops were simply outstanding, as was the cauliflower. The lemon rice with all the fixings, and the desserts--the kulfi was out of this world --made for a perfect meal. Wonderful wonderful wonderful!More infoTamarind - TribecaPrice: Expensive• Indian• TriBeCa•4.8

The service is terrific, with great suggestions for pairing dishes and wines. - TTaishaNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on 22 Dec 2024It was my birthday celebration and I had a great time. My food was delicious and the mimosa was tasty. I had no idea it would be served straight from the bottle with this extra long straw it was so cute and my family and I enjoyed ourselves. - OTOpenTable DinerNew York City •1 review4.0Dined on 26 Oct 2015Took a while to receive our food, but when we did it was very good. We came here to celebrate a family birthday, and had to wait quite a while to receive our special dessert and candle thing. After we had seen another table get theirs. We ordered a second paratha, but by the time it came we had finished our food. That said, it was a pleasant dining experience and I would happily return.More infoIndian SpicePrice: Moderate• Indian• Park Slope•4.3
