Best French Restaurants in Woodley Park

The moment we walked into La Grande Boucherie DC we felt welcomed. The hostess at the entrance shared a little about the beautiful venue before seating us. PRETTY COOL BAR! Our waiter, Steven welcomed us again before introducing himself. His attention made our visit special, as well as the overall staff. We ordered the lobster bisque and the pear salad, the salmon and the steak frites and shared a cheesecake for dessert. We certainly enjoyed our food and dining experience. La Grande Boucherie in NY had already made a good impression on us when we organized a large gathering with family and friends. The food, service and presentation was fantastic and made for a wonderful experience. My only reservation was the dinning area felt a bit congested, and as a result, felt a bit confined and challenging to hear at times. This aspect was unfortunate to an otherwise great experience.

We recently dined at La Piquette and had a great experience. Our party of four was celebrating an anniversary and a birthday, and the afternoon couldn't have been more perfect. From the moment we walked in, the cozy, intimate setting created the ideal atmosphere for our special celebrations. We skipped the appetizers and ordered our entrees, which included Prime Beef Steak and Frites, Lobster Risotto, Halibut, and Sautéed Fresh NC Shrimp. Each dish was a perfect blend of flavors and textures, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. It was evident that the chefs put a lot of passion and creativity into their culinary creations. The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring every detail of our dining experience was right. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, adding a personal touch to our celebrations. And don’t overlook their desserts! They were the perfect ending to a perfect meal. The sweet treats were as delightful and creative as the main courses, leaving us thoroughly impressed and satisfied. Overall, La Piquette exceeded our expectations in every way. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. The only thing that would make me hesitant to return again would be the 2+ hour ride up I95. No, on second thought, not even that would keep us from being repeat customers.

This location is the best - great staff and and great service. I live in VA closer to the Arlington location, but come to Cleveland park for the reasons above. Will keep coming back 😊

Our first experience dining at Chez Billy was delightful. It is an intimate restaurant with beautiful decor and attentive staff. The Caesar Salad and Onion Soup started our meal and were delicious ( the Caesar the best I’ve ever had). The Tuna and Duck entrees were perfectly prepared. We ended our dinner with the cheesecake and rice pudding … delish! Billy Sud is a little Georgetown gem.
