Best Waterfront Restaurants in Corona del Mar

We celebrated my wife’s birthday by booking a reservation for Sunday early evening at 5 p.m. This timing worked out great for us, because the restaurant was not busy and no one was seated near us. We were given the table for two right on the water. We split the beet salad which was excellent and plenty of food for two. My wife had the halibut, which was exquisite. I had the lobster tail, which was excellent. The sommelier basically gave us 2 for 1 glasses of a French white burgundy. Before dinner we each had one cocktail which both did not chintz on the alcohol content. We were given a free tiny appetizer and a free birthday dessert with two complimentary glasses of champagne. Everything was delicious. The servers worked together to provide just the right amount of attention. It was truly a fine dining experience in every sense of the word. We will return for special occasions.

Came for Saturday brunch. It was a gloomy day so it wasn't busy, but we were ok with that as we had 2 babies in our party. Service was exceptional and food was great with good portions and good value. Get the warm bread basket, it was so good. Beautiful restaurant with a beautiful view of the marina, we'll for sure be coming back again soon.

Food was great as usual. Our server was Nori who is so professional and really understands how to do her job! She thinks ahead and you never have to ask for refills as she is on top of it. She is honest and makes great recommendations to the menu. We ask for her all the time,

Rusty Pelican never disappoints! Thank you to our extraordinary waiter, Joseph. He was attentive and thoughtful. We were chilled sitting inside, and he brought my guest and me blankets! Outstanding food as always. The Alaskan halibut on a bed of mashed potatoes was delicious! Cold, fresh crisp salad was excellent as well. Thank you Joseph for your high quality service! We will be back!
