- OTOpenTable DinerToronto / Ontario •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe went to Alobar for dinner right after our wedding. Everyone loved the food and remarked that the striploin steak and lobster were the best they’ve ever had. I thought the broccolini was the real scene stealer. The ambience was lovely, perfect for the occasion, and the noise level was moderate. The folks waiting us were friendly and overall we had a lovely night.More infoAlobar YorkvillePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Canadian• Yorkville•4.7
- EEvanvipToronto / Ontario •5 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoChef Danny and Jordan took great care of us with the Chef's Counter experience. Filipino inspired plates were presented in front of us course after course, timed to perfection. Each course was well explained by the chef with where the inspiration came from. Their entire team had our notes downs, and knew exactly what we were celebrating that night and catered the experience to our taste and preference. The hospitality that was present from start to finish was from the service to the kitchen was impeccable. On a side note, they do change their menu, and ingredients quite often! My fiance and I are already planning our next trip back, likely visiting their bar to enjoy some of their cocktails and a la carte offerings from their menu! Extremely approachable and innovative experience! Highly recommend!More infoMineralPrice: Very Expensive• Filipino• Rosedale / Summerhill•4.9

- RRichardToronto / Ontario •6 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThe service and food quality is absolutely amazing. My wife and I have been trying to get reservations for years and finally we were successful on the evening of our 35th Anniversary. From the Hostess to the servers Adam, Godwin and the AGM Johann, everyone were super attentive and provided great input about the menu options chosen. The Steak Tarta & French onion Soup, both developed tastefully with the perfect combination of herbs & spices and creatively presented. The Brome Lake Duck and poached pear a perfect combination of sweet and acid complementing the tender meat of the pine- glazed Duck. The Lamb Rack, tender and tastefully matched with the white port jus and charred broccoli, made for a mouth watering pallet. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and ended it with a rich cappuccino and Black Forest gâteau which we romantically shared and now look forward to our next visit, hopefully soon.More infoCanoe Restaurant and BarPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Canadian• Financial District•4.5
