Located in the Heart of Sonoma Valley, Loxton Cellars is a working winery surrounded by 5 acres of estate vineyard. It is the intent of owner/winemaker, Chris Loxton, to produce handcrafted wines, made without compromise, that show balance and a sense of place. Wine tastings (no food) are currently offered by reservation and take place outdoors allowing guests to enjoy a lineup of handcrafted wines while taking in breathtaking views of the Mayacamas mountain range. Tastings are $20/person, include a flight of 5 wines and offer a casual and educational experience. In the event of rain we do have you covered, but it can be a bit chilly this time of year so we suggest bringing layers. While we do not sell or serve food, you are welcome to bring snacks or lunch to enjoy in the picnic area.     As usual fantastic. It was a lovely quiet lunch time, so we could talk and just relax and enjoy. I had the sesame crusted ahi and it was really good. The service here is always fantastic our server was just the sweetest. I have been to NVB many times but this was an extra special visit. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    The Saint is a Saint Helena gem, with amazing boutique wines from small producers not widely found on wine lists, and fantastic food from Market next door, another Saint Helena gem. Stephanie at the bar was warm and attentive, and fun to chat with. The lounge vibe makes The Saint a great place to just hang out, especially on a slow night; you won't be hurried out the door and can usually meet a few other locals stopping in for an after work cocktail or fine glass of wine.
