Best Organic Food Restaurants in Whitefish Bay

Our experience was quite nice. The staff was extremely friendly and respectful. Food was outstanding. Eva and Neil were our servers and they were top-notch. Only minor complaints were we were seated next to a semi-loud group even though the restaurant was mostly vacant when we dined, and the table we were at was pushed in very tight to the wall. We probably could have requested to move but it wasn’t that bad. Music was interesting but not offensive. Had some old rock and some newer indie stuff playing which didn’t match the restaurant’s vibe, but I personally enjoyed it.

It’s a great neighborhood kind of place. Solid menu, always good service, although the kitchen can get backed up with a lot of DoorDash orders.

Even though the restaurant is primarily a steakhouse, Mason Street Grill was accommodating to a vegan guest. The server went above and beyond to coordinate with the chef a delicious, vegan option.

When we entered, we were greeted warmly by a welcoming smile from the hostess. We were seated in a booth in the bar area which we love because it's comfortable, tastefully decorated, spacious, with an attractive well-lit long bar. Servers always appear to be well-trained. We had an efficient, attentive and friendly team of Natalie and Taylor. Our dinners were well paced and delicious. We have been consistently pleased with our food and exceptional service.

I didn't know until I got there that this is located in the old White House bar, which was favorite of mine in the early 90's. The instant nostalgic hit was my first impression. I love how Sage has kept the beauty and character of the place while giving it a lovely update with chandeliers, plants, and paintings by local artists. I ordered the Lavender #2 cocktail to begin and it was so delicious and presented so prettily that I had to order a second. My dinner was the Winter Salad with Salmon and it was also not only delicious but pretty as well. I am gluten free and the menu was full of great options for me. It was a very slow night, mid week, so I had the opportunity to enjoy chatting with both the owner and the server, who were absolutely lovely. I will definitely return and highly recommend a visit.
