Best Cosy Restaurants in Ocean Grove

The calamari was perfect especially the sauce! Veal Napoleon was divine,truffle reduction was complex and delicious. Linguine Sinatra was a treat for the eye but somewhat less to the taste,something was missing? Italian Cheesecake was amazing! Tito's Martini was perfect with huge,crunchy olives and cold,cold,cold! Will highly recommend to others. Thank you for a memorable Thanksgiving dinner.

Scratch Kitchen is a welcomed addition to the sometimes lackluster restaurants in the Jersey Shore area. At Scratch they show a respect for their diners from their exemplary service, table settings, written specials and presentation to the quality of the food served. It is also very nice to have a crusty bread service to accompany a meal that by its nature encourages “dipping”. The meal I enjoyed was the cod with cannellini beans along with an order of well seasoned potatoes. While cod can sometimes be bland, this dish was filled with delicious flavors. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be sure to reserve when I return from Charleston SC in the near future.

We haven't been here in quite some time, and saw the menu had been updated, so decided to try it out. We sat at the chefs table and got to watch the behind the scenes cooking. Everything that came out of the kitchen was meticulously plated. Everything looked beautiful! We started with the “Salatim” and the Shishito. For our entrees we had the Schnitzel and the Squash. Everything was excellent! My husband usually gets steak, but seeing Schnitzel after schnitzel come out of the kitchen, he wanted to give it a try. He said it was the best chicken he has ever had. My Squash (vegan option) was delicious! We will definitely be back soon!

Fourth time we have been there when visiting Belmar. Food is always plentiful and spiced to perfection. Warm fire, beautiful Christmas decorations, good prompt service. I am hooked! Highly recommend.

Great food and great service. Went early so it wasn’t crowded, portions were a little small, but overall it was great and I would definitely go back
