Best Cosy Restaurants in Centro

We found this restaurant on Open Table when searching for one with ambiance, unique Michelin awarded food, and notable reviews…happily Aleli did not disappoint! While the menu choices are limited we did not have trouble being adventurous & sharing the totally creative combos, & all were quite good. We found ordering 2 Small Bites & only 1 Big Bite, & trying both of their 2 desserts was a perfect amount of food for us 2 women. Also enjoyed their interesting cocktails and stairs up to the rooftop, but hardly ADA accessible. Only hiccup we could mention is the decaf cappuccinos were fine, but never came out hot, just lukewarm, despite 2 tries. However, we appreciated their efforts! The Staff was very friendly & English was spoken, plus if you ask they had a menu in English, which we found is not often the case in Mexico City. Highly recommend & would return!

Absolutely incredible. From the service to the food to the chef personally checking on us and giving us a sample of new food he’s working on. We were dining with old friends and this experience exceeded all expectations. Bravo!

Delicious and perfectly cooked Seabass and shrimp, steaks and duck. Nice wine selection and very good cocktails. Beautiful, comfortable setting inside and nice sidewalk seating in front. The Chef is very welcoming and charming. 

What an amazing experience my wife and I had here, food es INCREDIBLE, the decor is super unique and the people working there are as sweet as their desserts. They even let me had their Spotify playlist 👌🏽👌🏽my favorite restaurant in the city for sure!

We had such a great experience eating at Marcello! The bread service is INCREDIBLE! I could have made a meal out of that alone. The service was impeccable, they even took our lack of Spanish in stride and we're super patient. The portion sizes were amazing. We highly suggest the chicken parmigiana - enough food for several meals. The truffle pasta was incredible too. We couldn't stop eating it. The pizza was real delicious as well! I feel like you can't go wrong here. Only world of advice, don't sit on the sidewalk/patio section if you don't want to be approached by passerby's trying to sell you something or collect donations.
