- KKathyVIPPhiladelphia County •29 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe made a dinner reservation for Valentine's Day and was so glad we picked this newly opened restaurant. It definitely is a special occasion place with a lovely atmosphere in a 1830's restored barn on the grounds of the Woolverton Inn. The food was fantastic. My appetizer, a Yukon Gold Potato Soup with tidbits of Maine Lobster, was to die for. (I would like to have taken a quart or two home with me.) My husband had the special appetizer of the night which was a duck leg with puffed pastry and a cherry gastrique sauce and appleslaw. Heavenly. (We hope this becomes a permanent offering on the menu.) For entrees, I had the beef braised short rib, the best I've ever had anywhere. And my husband had the dry-aged ribeye steak with a special (secret) sauce. Desserts were Chocolate Mousse and Apple Crumble with vanilla ice cream. Yum! Every moment of this dining experience was sheer perfection, from the moment we stepped into the restaurant and were warmly welcomed by the staff, to someone offering to hang our coats so we didn't have to take them to our table, to the owner introducing himself and taking a moment to chat with us before dinner, to our server who was professional, personable and delightful. The wood burning fireplace provided a cozy atmosphere. But of course our highest compliments go to the incredibly talented chef! The restaurant is BYOB, so we brought two bottles of wine (white and red) to compliment our various dishes. We highly recommend this restaurant. It certainly is a wonderful new addition to the Stockton/New Hope/Lambertville dining scene. And to be honest, we love dining out, and we haven't found any restaurant in the area that is of this caliber.More infoNorthridge at Woolverton InnPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Lumberville•4.9
- KKathleenPhiladelphia County •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoChopped salad was amazing both in terms of variety of vegtables and quantity. Would have like more vegtables with entree. Had the snapper which was on a broccoli purée with a few baby corns. My husband had the salmon on a bed of faroe, also no vegtables. Nice touch at the end on Valentines that 2 small chocolate wafers were presented along with a small box that contained 4 bite sized little deserts which were all different.More infoEarl's New AmericanPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• New Hope•4.6

Our Server Richard was friendly and made our experience enjoyable. I really like that the Happy Hour specials are extended to the whole dining room. It's a great value from 4-6 on weekdays. Happy Hour is my favorite way to enjoy an establishments food selections as its budget friendly. The Water Wheel is a charming place with wide wood floors, ceiling beams and stone fireplace.More infoThe Water Wheel TavernPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Doylestown•4.6
