Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Cochrane

I love Big Fish. The staff is great, and the food is amazing. It is always on my top five list of restaurants in Calgary.

Excellent meal. Prime rib perfect and halibut delicious. Valentine special. The salads were very tasty and fresh. The desserts were yummy. Our server Patrick was efficient and so nice. Lovely evening.

Put Aama on your list to try- like us- you will be back. We really enjoyed Aama. Spiced just right- enough to make your hair sweat LOL. We had the Johl Momos (Nepal dumplings)- we chose pork - butter chicken and Chow mein. The cow mein was oir favourite (no it is NOT Chinese chow mein). We asked for medium and it had a kick that we enjoyed. You can get mild or spicier Would be a “recommended to try” from us. We didn’t have the Yak but will next time. Chef said it is like bison but less “gamier” and very lean. Raised on a ranch here in AB We can’t wait to come back again! Hats off to the chef/owner and the staff. They spent all the time needed to explain everything and answered all our questions. Thank you

Great traditional dishes. Great family style atmosphere and good value for the money. Our go-to for Indian food in Cochrane.
