Every detail of the building is historical, and every picture hanging on the wall gives you a glimpse of what life was like in the 1800’s.Along with our passion for keeping history alive, we also have an even greater passion for food. We only use the finest and freshest seasonal ingredients when crafting our dishes.     A friend recommended Focacceria Ristorante since we are not from the Basking Ridge Area and we are glad he did. From the moment we walked in, everyone was friendly and we were seated immediately. Restaurant was small and quiet, the service was excellent and everything we ordered from appetizers to dessert were delicious. Our friends from out of state enjoyed everything as well. We will definitely return, even though we don't live in the area. Thank you for a lovely dinner and we are looking forward to returning in warmer weather, when we can dine in your pretty outside outdoor seating area!

    Always outstanding. It’s so good to eat such deliciously well-prepared food! Unpretentious, but masterfully artful. Service is attentive and friendly—they seamlessly and unobtrusively work together as a team to make sure everything is just right. We love eating here. A superb meal to inspire delight.     We had a wonder first time at tap and bitter. It was a quiet Sunday but the staff checked in on us throughout our dinner. We always had water and didn’t feel rushed and they gave us time in between courses to relax and enjoy each other company
