- RRobertPittsburgh •25 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis place is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to dine before going to a show in the Cultural District. The service is excellent. They have an extensive wine list and they always offer seasonal cocktails that the bartenders come up with on their own. The appetizers and entrees are always phenomenal as well. Already looking forward to my next visit!More infoTalia Cucina RosticceriaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downtown•4.7
- JJessicaPittsburgh •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoIt’s unfortunate that my date and I only have two mouths and two stomachs total between us, because I absolutely wouldn’t feel bad about ordering the entire menu in one sitting. Well, my wallet might. We did order a lot, though, and we ended up closing down the place. The ambience was sexy and upbeat (not the drowsy kind of sexy, you know what I mean). It paired perfectly with the cocktails and a bottle of sake, and the staff were super stoked to give recommendations based on what we were feeling. The food came out as it was prepared, plated to perfection and ready to share. Did we order too much? I mean, it looked like it, but we ate every crumb. I’d have licked the plate if I didn’t like my outfit so much. And like I said, we closed down the place but never felt like we were being annoying or rushed out. Next time I come back, I’m ordering the rest of the menu.More infoGolden GaiPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Point Breeze•4.8
- RRebeccaPittsburgh •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoAlways a delicious dinner. Nice seasonal menu entree changes. Meatloaf & Amish Pie dinners were excellent! The best bartenders and cocktails in Pittsburgh (we travel from 500+ miles away & always stop in when in town) old fashioned cocktail is my personal favorite. Keep it going! - KKeithPittsburgh •1 review5.0Dined on 14 Nov 2024We ate at Otaru for the first time this evening, and I'm happy to say it was an incredible experience. I previewed the menu prior to our reservation, and it certainly did look daunting. However, our server Garrett and another server Angela made incredible recommendations and helped us create a memorable dinner. We opted for an appetizer of pork and shrimp buns and the portion size was great - in fact we could have split them. For our main course we were spoiled with delicious selections from both the Otaru Course and the Otaru Experience. I'm sure that we could have split one or the other, but having an individual portion of the amazing cold fish selections was great. We most definitely left with very, very full and happy bellies! Thanks for a great birthday meal, Otaru!More infoOTARUPrice: Very Expensive• Creative Japanese• Mt. Washington•4.7
- BBirdiePittsburgh •1 review5.0Dined on 14 Nov 2024The small plates and charcuterie were wonderful. We always love trying a bunch of different things so having a variety of small plates and shareable was a treat! Our server was friendly and very helpful, the atmosphere was fun and relaxed, and the seating was cozy but didn’t feel crampedMore infoMorcillaPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Lawrenceville•4.9
