Best Lunch Restaurants in Chapel Hill

The Valentine's Tasting Menu Dinner was fabulous. Salmon and tuna tartare , followed by shrimp and scallop dumplings, followed by Salmon Wellington and ending with Chocolate cheesecake was absolutely delicious and so well presented. A nice Chardonnay was a great complement. Elements is always a special place to eat and this dinner showed off their expertise. We will be back.

We've been to Tandem many times and always enjoyed our meals there. This time, we had three old favorites: the deviled eggs, the Caesar salad, and the short rib. We also tried the daily catch, which was sea bass with a truffle butter. It was excellent. We will return.

First time dining…met friends…parking is always a bit difficult on Franklin Street…plan on arriving earlier than reservation Staff was friendly accommodating (requested a quiet table hit one in the far corner) and sever efficient and patiently explained menu items (although it seemed short staff and it was a Saturday night everything arrived at the same time and waitress was sure to check on us) Food was delicious…and portions ample…definitely a place to go with friends or another couple…well worth a visit

The modern decor was eye catching. Right down to the place settings and serving dishes. I normally do not right reviews but it was amazing. The food was so flavorful and filling. We left with leftovers. Even the dishes to take home were nice. We will be back. Our new favorite Indian restaurant for sure!

I gave ambiance such a low rating only because we were disappointed in not being able to eat in one of the outside spaces you have. We hope the restaurant has not given up service out there. We love the food, but also love eating outside, especially in the covered part when the doors are open. Otherwise, ambiance inside was fine.
