I've been eating at the Buellton Hitching Post for over 30 years and can't remember a bad meal, plate, or drink. This is a special restaurant that never lost its soul. It's not about plating, or stuffiness or a 50 page wine list. JJ the wine buyer puts together a great list that goes from great local BTG specials to a cellar that sports 1962 Lafite. Bring your friends and trust the 'Post' to exceed your expectations. Don't sleep on the duck, the mushrooms, the pork chop, and of course the steaks are fire--my choice is the filet.

After years of going to the Gathering Table at the Ballard Inn we were so excited to see that it had re-opened on Mission Drive. The food was as fantastic as we remembered. The hamachi appetizer and Miso Black Cod were amazing 💖

The food here was really good. The music was amazing… they had a Vicente playlist going. I noticed they had a ton of bottles of Fortaleza tequila on the wall. If you’re looking for that tequila… this is the place to go.
