- HHendrixDallas - Fort Worth •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food is truly the star here! Had the truffle fries and sushi for appetizers and both were so delicious! I had the Chicken Penne alla vodka and my wife the braised rib and they were both so delicious and full of flavor. Value is AMAZING for the quality of the food. The inside is beautiful and ambiance was comfortable and relaxing. Although this is not an insult by any means this restaurant is not an expensive steakhouse so don't expect that type of ambiance (low lights, formal attire severs, $100 steaks lol) here. Perfect date night, we will be going back often!More infoSeven Doors Kitchen + CocktailsPrice: Expensive• American• The Colony•4.6
- TTracyVIPDallas - Fort Worth •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI have wanted to try Windmills for quite some time, and we finally did for Valentine's Day. It's such a unique brewery. From the outside, it doesn't look like a brewery at all, but their beers are solid. We tried two different IPAs and liked them both. The food looks and tastes very gourmet. The presentation is beautiful, and the entrees are flavor-packed. The cocktails are lovely as well. I had the chicken tika as my entree; my husband got the burger. We split the prawns as an appetizer and shared a special Valentine's Day raspberry tart for dessert. They have live jazz music there often and had it the evening we were there as well. There were only two small things that I didn't like and that was how loud it was. It's a great place to listen to music but if you want to have a conversation it's a bit difficult. Also, our waitress was wonderful but it took a really long time to get our check. That could have been because it was a holiday and they were fully booked, so I don't fault her. We will be back in the future for sure.More infoWindmillsPrice: Expensive• Brewery• The Colony•4.2

- LLeslieDallas - Fort Worth •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe went to Thirsty Lion on Valentine’s Day, which was yesterday. We had the Valentine’s Day specials. The shrimp was amazing and my salmon was so good. There was a pairing of wine, white or red with our meals. I believe Ashton was our server. She is actually going to school and working two days a week and was very nice. We enjoyed visiting with her! We made a reservation for 3 o’clock since we were on our way and were afraid that we would not get in for their special! We love this location in The Colony, highly recommend! Just remember that they do not have happy hour on holidays!More infoThirsty Lion - The Colony, TXPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• The Colony•4.6
- OTOpenTable DinerDallas - Fort Worth •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoFrom start to finish all was excellent. We arrive a bit early for our 5:30 reservation and were seated right away. The menu was very good for my wife and I. Perry's has a special selection for those over 65. $39 per person with a good selection of the three courses. Their bread was warm and tasty. The Lobster Bisque was exceptionally good. The cup was more than enough with a nice chunk of Lobster in it. The filet for my wife was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. The steak came on a hot plate. My Fried shrimp was excellent on top of a large mound of French fries. The three sauces that were served with the fries added to the flavors. We added on the Asparagus as an additional side. Deserts were Creme Brule and Cheesecake. My wife opted for a glass of Perry's house Rose - perfect match for her steak. The restaurant was nicely laid out. The wine racks were over 10 feet high and contained many bottles of their finest wines. We were served by Katlyn. A beautiful young lady that was very attentive to our needs. Thank you Perry's for a wonderful pre Valentines dinner. Worth it - YES. We'll be back.
