Best Restaurants with Private Rooms in East Market St - NuLu

I highly recommend this place for its originality, quality of food and service, as well as its ambiance. It was my first visit to this kinda hidden Louisville gem & I will certainly go there again. It was very much a positive experience.

Excellent place! It was one of the best steaks I've ever had. Oysters were delicious, dessert was magnificent - I will definitely be back!

Overall the Food was very fresh. We got the Tuna tartare which was very salty. And this is coming from someone who salts her food a lot. It definitely was not our favorite. The crackers with it were off putting because of the saltiness as well. We get this appetizer at every restaurant that offers it, this was hands down the least favorite restaurant we have had it at. Halibut my husband said was excellent. I got the crab cake appetizer. It was just meh.. Hericot verts were yummy..very buttery but I love butter so win win for me. We did celebrate and get the butter cake for dessert . It was yummy along with cappuccino’s. Overall we would definitely go back. But would never order the tuna tartare again! We loved the atmosphere a lot. Parking is a little tricky. The dinner took 90 minutes. We were in and out in time to go to the orchestra.

Ultimate Smashburger was delicious and turned out great! Steak fries delicious too. But the fish had a little much breading for our taste. Seems that these dishes were over priced by about $8 each but the restaurant atmosphere was really good. Drinks were too expensive so we drank water. Burger was the best! I’d go again for that. And the rooftop bar when it gets warmer.
