Our server is was great and the food did not take too long. The cocktails did take awhile to come, which i do understand they were very busy. We are looking forward to going back soon and trying more items on the menu. One thing i would criticize would be the valet, i understand they are swamped on a Saturday night but they whip around the cars too fast in that tiny parking lot. Cries out for a carpet or any sound abatement that might allow conversation at a table for 2 to4. Miss the old original Gurney’s corny Italian rococo decor that was a relief from the now ubiquitous “ zen”running to “ Amish “ look of un inviting plain colorless Uber simple gray fixtures. Looks as if it was decorated by Monks who have taken a vow of poverty. Art work is all black, gray and during late fall no view of gorgeous ocean after early sunset.
