Best Steak Restaurants in Orange

Food was exceptionally well done as always. Our server Terri was great. Only issue was finding out that Lobster Bisque was dropped from menu. Thats usually a highlight of the meal at RC. Anaheim location is getting REAL lax with dress code. I assume due to proximity of Disneyland and Convention Center but from a brand exclusivity perspective RC Anaheim is looking a lot like a “regular” restaurant rather than a destination establishment.

Post Valentine's Day date! We wanted to go a fancy steakhouse. They were fully committed on Vday, so we were lucky to find reservations the day after. Parking: $8 Valet Parking Dress Code: Business Casual Ambiance/Environment: They have plenty of indoor seating. The inside is dark, but we were seated in the outer area where it was bright. Our reservation was at 16:30, and it wasn't as busy. It became busier around their dinner rush. Service: We checked in with the hostess, and we were seated promptly. Shout out to Alex! She was quick, efficient, and knowledgeable about the menu. She explained the whole menu to us since it was our first time dining there. She even recommended us her favorite dishes and popular dishes. We were constantly checked on, and our waters were filled a couple times. Food & drinks: 1) Bread & Butter (complimentary) - The bread was huge and soft! There was a generous amount of creamy butter. 2) Lobster Bisque - We started off with appetizers. The bisque was so creamy and not too thick. It had lots of flavors, but we prefer a bit more lobster bits. 3) Truffle Cream Corn - This paired deliciously with our steaks! The truffle flavor came through! The corn was sooo creamy! 4) Smoked Gouda & Bacon Au Gratin Potatoes - This also paired perfectly with our steaks! There was a generous amount of cheese and sliced potatoes. There wasn't as much bacon, only a few pieces. 5) Tomahawk Ribeye w/ Black Truffle Butter - My bf ordered this medium rare. I got to try some pieces. Although it looked medium well, it still cut easily and soft. The Black Truffle Butter gave it even more flavor. We definitely enjoyed it! 6) "Proprietary" Prime Cajun Ribeye - I ordered this medium rare. It cut easily and not too chewy. The cajun flavor didn't really come through, but I still enjoyed it. 7) Passion Margarita - Alex told us this was currently their popular cocktail. I love margaritas! I really liked this drink! Fruity & strong! Pricing: $$$$

My wife and I tried the 5-course menu with wine pairings and it was well worth it. We had a window view with no obstruction and got to see the Disney fireworks towards the end. The food was amazing and our server was great as well. We didn’t feel rushed at all and our server was very knowledgeable about the food and wine. This was our second time at Orange Hill and they never disappoint and highly recommend. Our reservation was at 7pm and got to the valet 5 minutes before and was able to check in and get seated quickly.

The food was really good. The service, however, was the shining star of the evening. We had eaten here 15 years ago for a rehearsal dinner for friends. I made the reservation for our valentine's dinner with the same couple that were married 15 years. And I didn't know that this same restaurant was where we were 15 years ago! When I notified the other couple, they were amazed with my memory. But no memory, it was just luck - or divine guidance! We arrived and were seated promptly. Dinner was delicious. But the star of the show was our server, Belen (or maybe spelled 'Belyn' or 'Belin'. Regardless, she took absolute total control, was spot-on with deliverables and requests, and allowed us to have a terrific evening. Flying in from Atlanta for the dinner at this same spot from 15 years ago? Nothing made the night better.

The amazing Madison took care of us; her friendliness and approachability made Valentine's Day Dinner extra special without seeming too formal and stuffy like you would expect from an elevated steakhouse. The steak was good, but the oyster appetizer, only found on the Valentine's prefix menu, stole the show. Hopefully they can add this to the regular menu.
