Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Jackson Heights

Holy, crap! This is the best meal I’ve ever had had a restaurant in my entire life. I’ve been to a lot of fancy restaurants, and high-end dining that I had to gaslight myself afterwards were worth the price, but this was so different. It was worth every penny. The food was perfect, the vibes were immaculate, the music was so relaxing, and they burned Palo Santo while you ate, so it was an aromatic fragrance in the air. Such a great place to take my fiancé for our anniversary. The waiter was so attentive, and gave great recommendations. Literally, every dish from the appetizers to the guacamole, to the main course and deserts was so tasty. They did not miss! I can’t wait to come again.

One of the best experiences I’ve had in New York. Had to book pretty early in advance due to the Valentines Day weekend rush, but got a lovely early afternoon spot. The atmosphere was so elegant & classy. Our waitress Mary Alice was so kind, accommodating, and overall such a pleasure to interact with. Yes it is pricey, but the experience and the quality of the food/tea was well worth it.

Enjoyed the scallop/pomegranite special and crab cake. Perfection! Lovely meld of flavors. Hubby really enjoyed his JUICY, flavorful burger. Topped it off with delicious creme brûlée. Irish Coffee needed a little more HEAT. VIEW was spectacular with the rain falling on the ice. First time to New York from Dallas TX and this was a top Fiver!

Delicious food and a fun vibe. Sitting at the temaki counter was fun and it was nice to be given the temaki one at a time. Excited to go back!

Our waiter, Andrew, was exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. He made fantastic recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The food was flavorful and beautifully presented, making for an unforgettable dining experience. If you’re looking for a place with great food and top-notch service, The Smith is a must-visit!
