The Farehouse is located in the heart of the historic Taylors Mill’s Dock No. 3. The mill began its life as the Southern Bleachery and Piedmont Print Works during the height of the Greenville area’s reign as the Textile Capital of the World. Closing as a mill in 1965, the building found a variety of partial uses until revitalization efforts began in the mid 2000s. While many mill revitalization projects have converted mills into condos and other residential projects, the Taylors Mill is proud to be the largest grassroots project of its kind in the upstate of South Carolina.     As always, the service and ambiance is fantastic. Our server tonight was exceptional! She was attentive but not overtly so as to be disruptive to our conversation or dining experience. The greatest thing about The Melting Pot is there are so many combinations of fondue, sauces and entrees that every bite and every visit can be different. Thank you to the entire staff for a great anniversary dinner!!!

    I just love this place and that’s why we go often. Tonight we tried only items we had never gotten before just to see if it’s as good on other items outside our normal ones and it was delicious. Love the wide selection of shareables and salads but their steaks and their pasta and burgers are also wonderful. The bar was hopping so we joined right in and made some new friends.

    From the moment we walked in we received exceptional service from Sam and the other wait staff. The food was amazing - the appetizers, the main course - fabulous.
