- GGaryVIPSeattle / Eastern Washington •23 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoPalisade is our go-to place for special occasions for our family and friends. Our besties just happen to have been married on Valentine’s Day so of course we came here for their Valentine’s Day special. The service was outstanding as always…our server treated us like old friends, and every employee we ran into acknowledged us. The food was excellent as always; started out with calamari as we usually do, which is as good as anywhere. The filet(s) were cooked perfectly, the slab of prime rib was enough for two people. The prawns were tasty but just a little tough and hard to get the tail off, but that’s the only criticism I can make of the whole meal. Everything was served hot, it was evident that nothing sat around before being delivered to our table. We’re already planning our next visit.More infoPalisadePrice: Moderate• Seafood• Magnolia•4.4

We were offered bubbly immediately upon arrival. Our waitress, Shayla, offered excellent explanations of some of the food options and provided some recommendations, but it was more than just a simple opinion. She would provide reasons for her recommendations which was helpful for us to decide if we felt the same way she did about a specific food item. The service was quick but we didn't feel rushed. Everyone seemed to be helping fill waters and we always had full glasses. The manager came by the table to check on us and wish us a good night. Overall it was a 10/10 experience.More infoJOEY University VillagePrice: Moderate• American• Laurelhurst•4.6

Don't sleep on the sauces they are each nestled in, it takes these 2 dishes to the next level.More infoJoulePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Wallingford•4.6
- DDonnaSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoI had family here from California, and we arranged to meet at this restaurant, which I had been to once previously. I remembered that it was good, and also that it was near Seattle Center, and I had a hunch these two would want to poke around over there once our meal was done, so it was a perfect location. The service was warm and friendly, but never intrusive, and the food was divine. I ordered the "sweet stuff" French toast with caramel and strawberries; nobody else makes it like this, and it was mouthwatering! I also ordered (to go) some "soft scramble" eggs with asparagus and Dungeness crab. It's so hard to get real, fresh crab anymore, what with the overfishing, but my eggs had actual leg segments of crab in them, a perfect ratio of filling to egg. The eggs came with their amazing potatoes, and my husband and I had that dish, along with a small amount of leftovers from my French Toast, for dinner that night. This may be my favorite Seattle restaurant right now! The cherry on the sundae, so to speak, was that when we were finished, we sat and chatted and nobody seemed anxious to kick us out of our booth. Oh hell yes.More infoToulouse Petit Kitchen & LoungePrice: Moderate• American• Queen Anne•4.7
