Best Date Night Restaurants in Lakeview/Gentilly

Limited menu since we are there on a Tuesday.. enjoyed all the rest of the amenities, service, drinks, etc.

We were visiting New Orleans and stop in for lunch! We had a wonderful server, Tyriell. She was friendly and helpful when we had questions about the menu. We will recommend Mondays. It was a beautiful day to sit outside and have a great lunch.

The ambiance is great! Great space for special occasions.

In general all was nice at lunch; however, my pasta was too salty, and Johny, the waiter, was very nice and helpful and brought another pasta dish. I loved the Cesar salad. It’s the best !

I decided to treat my daughter to dine here because she had never been and I was certain it would not disappoint. The food was fantastic but the service could have been better. Our server kept bypassing our table when serving bread (a must with the garlic shrimp), asking for a decision on entree after 20+ minutes done with appetizers, and offering a dessert option while waiting for 30+ minutes after finishing our paella. We felt neglected. Regardless, we tipped decently and will be returning, thinking that this may have just been a blip in what otherwise is an outstanding, traditional Spanish cuisine staple in New Orleans.
