Best Date Night Restaurants in Lee's Summit

It was a pleasant place for a happy hour. Our food and drinks were very good. Friends with us loved their pineapple martini. I found a draft of my favorite beer. The shaved prime rib sliders were absolutely delicious, and just right for our light late afternoon appetites. Our friends enjoyed the sliders, shrimp and cauliflower. The server was excellent, visiting our table in a timely, unobtrusive, but thoughtful manner. She was polite, helpful, efficient and pleasant. As the room filled, the noise level rose, making conversation more problematic, but we had come early enough that it didn’t impact our dining. Good food with good friends. Great food, I always enjoy a visit to Westside Local.

KC has a lot to offer in restaurants but you won’t find any other like this one! The menu changes every few months and the variety is wide for any taste buds. We love the atmosphere and the presentation of the foods. I can tell the servers like it here too as we often get the same ones for years now.

Big problem with the handicap parking and getting in the building. We had to walk a long distance to get into the building because the front door was blocked due to the walkway having wet cement. Our friend is disabled and has a problem walking. There was no information when we arrived that we needed to go t o the back of the building to enter. We frequently go to Houlihans for lunch and dinner and have never had issues in the past. This was not a good experience. Sharon Jacob
