We'd recently had a sushi omakase in Santa Barbara, prepared by a Michelin starred chef and his team. Haru Omakase compared very favorably to that meal, at under 30% of the price. Service was polite and informative. The food came out in "tours" -- I'll call them waves. A soup wave, then three waves of 3 pieces of sushi each, and then a dessert wave. Very nice.
