Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Northbrook

Great experience with great server! Lovely restaurant with delicious food. Looking forward to many more visits. Their pasta was truly delicious and I’m one that is difficult to be impressed. Carbonara was one of the best I’ve had.

The burgers are delicious and hearty. The brussel sprout side is crispy and tasty. The smokey Old Fashioned was really good. Spears is a feel good, laid back restaurant.

Wonderful delicious vegetarian food. Outstanding service, beautiful restaurant with plenty of plants around. The service is the best overall. Attentive, caring, helpful. All the entrees are delicious. We had the red coconut curry and forbidden fall, both of which are always delicious. The baos are supposedly not available until 4:30 pm and they made it a "legal" rule which is a bit surprising. The other unexpected thing was the dessert of carrot cake. We have had it previously, and it was always good However, this time, the cake was dry and stale and was not good. Other than that, this was another wonderful experience.

Gluten free meals and bread were offered which was a real plus. We all enjoyed. The chef made an excellent salmon dish.

Very good service, noise level high. Recommend the chicken kabob, but forget the onion soup. Request to sit by the fireplace. Cozy.
