Best Comfort Food Restaurants in West Chicago

Always enjoy the experience at Farm Bar either eating at the bar or seated at a table. The challah bread appetizer with flavored butter is great. Fried cheese curds were solid. Only app that we haven't enjoyed are the various renditions of hummous. The salmon dishes, either on salad or in a main, are very tasty. The sunchoke puree, steak and cabbage was great for the meat eater. There are 2 solid veg entrees. Overall, it's just a solid restaurant, priced appropriately with good bevvies and service.

Our server was AMAZING! The food is so yummy. It was loud but it’s the holidays and it was busy. The server was so kind. He was asking my friend and I if he should keep his hair style or change it. :) It felt very cozy even though the restaurant is large. Thank you for making my friend’s birthday memorable!

I had out of town guests and I figured bring them to an Italian comfort food place would be a hit. And I was absolutely correct. This place exceeded our expectations and delivered amazing food to our table so quickly. We all kept saying that we cannot wait to come back next time They’re in town and this will be a place we bring other guests going forward!

Great food, good Service and an amazing winter ambience makes for an awesome restaurant. This place is a chicago gem and I hope it stay in business for a very long time. Thanks Frontier for always being a great spot to eat at.
