Best Vegan Restaurants in High Park

I’ve been going here for many years and have never been disappointed. The food is incredible, the staff phenomenal, and the ambience is perfect for a date or a night out with friends. Highly recommend the meatballs and literally any pasta. And when in doubt on wine, any one will do because the list is well curated. You can’t go wrong here.

This is the first time my husband and I did an 8 course tasting. With incredibly knowledgable staff, mind blowing and complex food, this was a night to remember. When a taste can bring you back to your childhood (much like what happened in Ratatouille), it’s nothing I had ever experienced anywhere else. Even as a non vegetarian, I did not miss the absence of meat. A must “go-to”.

La Bartola has an ambient atmosphere perfect for intimate dates or more lively dinners with colleagues and friends. The staff are attentive and friendly, willing to offer recommendations and explanations of menu items without hesitation. I had their white mole dish, followed by the chocolate cake, and was blown away by how incredible everything tasted. For cocktails, the Oaxacan (pronounced "Wa-ha-kan") Old Fashioned is an unmissable classic, combining the flavours of an Old Fashioned with the unmistakeable smokiness of mescal, which is a Oaxacan specialty. I've been to Bartola twice now and, as a non-vegan, find their menu exciting, intriguing, and, above all, outstanding. I will be back!

Love this restaurant. This time was a business type meeting and my colleague was more than 30 minutes late. The staff was great - no pressure to order etc. enjoyed the food immensely. She is not a vegetarian but loved it!!

My first time experiencing vegan restaurant. The server was very kind and prompt. I did not catch her name. We were there for lunch on November 11, 2024. The food just blew us away. Amazingly delicious. The prices were not too high, but I would not consider cheap either. Over all it was a positive experience. Thank you.
