We started with a small order of the mussels which were plump and perfectly cooked. We then had the onion soup which was also excellent. For entrees, my husband had the Steak au Poivre and I had the Trout Almondine. Both were delicious! Finally, for dessert, we shared the Belle Helene and the Profiteroles. Delightful! The entire dining experience was perfect.More infoCafe RabelaisPrice: Expensive• French• Rice Village•4.8

The food makes you remember the streets of Barcelona and all Catalan cuisine!! Service was 10/10!!!! - DLDebraLAustin •17 reviews5.0Dined on 14 Nov 2024I love that the menu is seasonal. I had an appetizer (garden salad with caramelized anchovy dressing, pickled cauliflower and wafer-thin croutons) and the parisian gnocchi lardons with squash veloute with a lovely sparkling wine. The service was impeccable, and it was surprisingly quiet, given that the restaurant was mostly full for lunch. Beautiful decor and ambiance, would be perfect for entertaining out of town guests or for a special occasion. I hope to go back to enjoy other seasonal menu creations.More infoLe Jardinier - HoustonPrice: Very Expensive• French• Heights / Washington•4.8
- SSheilavipHouston •10 reviews5.0Dined on 10 Nov 2024We have been a few times to Auden and have loved it every time. The service is warm and attentive, the food is consistently delicious and the ambiance is classy and cozy. I also love that the chef changes up the menu with the seasons (while keeping the fan favorites on) and the way he is able to meld tastes and flavors together is perfection. The dessert menu is always on point and their wine selection is quite expansive. This truly is a great place for either a casual get together or an intimate evening. It is no wonder this place is rated as one of the top restaurants to visit in Houston.More infoAudenPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Montrose•4.4
