- NNancyAlabama •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAfternoon tea was lovely! Brown Palace beautifully decorated for Christmas, so festive! Atmosphere was cheery and bright and had all the holiday feels. I had heard that the BP had gone downhill a bit, but that was not at all our experience. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and polite. Our server was wonderful and attentive, and the food was terrific! Added bonus there was a piano player and he was wonderful and made the event even more special! Highly recommend!More infoAfternoon Tea at the Brown PalacePrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Downtown / LoDo•4.6

- MMichaelSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoHad an early dinner in the lower level seating area in the super comfy chairs. This history and setting in the dining area are very unique and help to justify the somewhat high price of the meals. Our server Nadia was very helpful in describing the different options on the menu. Despite the number of lukewarm reviews for the buffalo prime rib, I decided to order that and I was glad I did. I got it 12 oz cut cooked medium rare with the peppercorn crust and it was "to die for" good in taste, doneness, texture, etc. My friend got the elk and buffalo tenderloin and while it was also good, we both agreed the prime rib was better. The Dutch apple pie with ice cream made a great finish to the meal. Out the door cost for two meals and the shared dessert without any alcohol was just south of $210 including the tip, and I left feeling it was worth it.More infoBuckhorn ExchangePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Central•4.5
- KKaralynnSeattle / Eastern Washington •8 reviews5.0Dined on 9 Nov 2024Went here 2x when in Denver this fall. For a tavern, the food was extra good. For lunch, the Caesar salad was among the best I've ever had, and the shrimp salad sandwich with tarragon was excellent. For dinner, for vegetarians they had a tofu steak with potatoes and vegetables that was also top notch. Drinks were good too. Service was attentive and friendly without being bothersome. And its location in the spectacular Brown Palace hotel can't be beat.More infoShip TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown / LoDo•4.1
- JjennifervipChicago / Illinois •4 reviews4.0Dined on 2 Nov 2024The service and the historical aspect of the restaurant was amazing! However, the food was overpriced for what it was. They need to cut 20.00-25.00 off each entree price and I think they would have higher ratings overall.More infoPalace ArmsPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown / LoDo•3.5
