Best Healthy Restaurants in East Nashville

Mockingbird is always a charming experience. Our most recent trip was on Valentines Day. The table had a live flame tea light and rose petals on it. My only complaint was that our server was taking care of a large table of older women that kept him busy and not as attentive to us as I would’ve liked. Appetizer didn’t come before the food but I didn’t dock the rating for that for reasons already stated. Food was excellent- we got Pasta La Vista, Tatchos, and Bulgogi Hanger Steak and they were all fantastic. The ambience is perfect - dimly lit and well decorated. We will be back.

We have tried to get back into City House many times, but we could never get a reservation. So I made a reservation two months in advance and got in! It was EVERY BIT as good as we remembered. The service and the food are absolutely outstanding. We ordered bottle of wine, so it was an expensive night. But it wouldn't have to be too costly if you weren't drinking. We ordered both the cabbage salad and the mozzarella salad. I don't know how they can be that good. The cabbage salad is unbelievably flavorful, and we actually asked for the recipe for the dressing - and they gave it to us! My husband and I each got pizza's and they were outstanding. I got the mushroom and fennel pizza. It was fantastic. We ended the night splitting the panna cotta, which was also excellent. Our server was friendly and very attentive and helpful, without being overbearing. He really made it a delightful evening. We decided we're just going to start making reservations a couple months in advance so we can get back to City House several times a year. It's just too good not to go back soon!

A one-of-a-kind culinary experience here in Nashville. Everything that we ordered was amazing; the endive and the donut dessert stood out the most to us. Such fun textures and stand-out flavors! And kudos to front of the house - service here was warm and inviting. Nailed all the cocktail recommendations and really made us felt like we were at a dinner party hosted by a good friend. Looking forward to coming back!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Etch!! The service was top notch, the food was delicious and presented exquisitely! The server knew the food and drink menu so well! They were very accommodating to my wife's gluten free needs. The red wine from Greece was amazing!! We enjoyed the cauliflower appetizer, gluten free bread rolls, Etch salad. And for the main course we had the Port and Filet, with a side of brussels sprouts. The banana flavored ice cream was delicious, being very light on the banana flavor. I hope to return soon.

The experience was really good. We went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I love Lebanese food but it was our first time trying a proper Lebanese Restaurant. Our server Michael was so amazing and took time to explain the Menu, patiently helping us with our queries. The freshly made fluffy Pitas were to die for. Best Falafels, Humus and Baba Ganush dips. We tried Cauliflower Baked Veggie option, which was good. Our favourite of the day was the Orange Pistachio Rose Cake. We don’t drink often to lapse on judgement on ordering the drinks 🙈 But, overall really good service and experience. Will comeback again! 🙋🏻‍♀️
