Way back in 1975, the Sail Loft lit the fire for Steve Silverstein, who went on to open nearly 40 restaurants. Located in the quintessential seaside village of Padanaram, it was the neighborhood place where you could get a good (strong) drink, chef prepared comfort food and relax in a convivial atmosphere with familiar faces. The Sail Loft was everyone’s favorite place; it was a hangout where some came for food and others for drink.When the Sail Loft became available in 2021, Steve jumped on the opportunity to take the wheel. Steve and his wife Judy transformed the Sail Loft into an elevated neighborhood restaurant with a distinct updated boatyard feel. There were 7 of us and we were seated in a back area off the main dining area which was perfect. We had one server whose attention was just right, and while we waited just a smidge for drink refills the evenings food and service was outstanding. It was our fourth visit and we will continue to dine there

Very sweet place! This was my first time at Carmines. I took my sister in law from out of state. I got the muscle littleneck app. Unfortunately they were not fresh.at all. Waitstaff amazing! My sister-in-law’s steak was good. Would go back for sure.
