Inspired by the brilliant and fast-paced culinary scene in Jalisco, the restaurant captures the serendipitous connections created when culture, food, tequila and art merge into one experience. Jose’s vibrant story comes to life at every table through its chef-driven plates, craft cocktails, the ceramics crafted by its renowned namesake, José Noe Suro of Ceramica Suro and the hand-drawn mural adorning the walls with scenes of Guadalajara and Tequila, which was a collaboration between Suro and Dallas-based designer and artist Megan Reinhardt. Treated my wife to a day date. From the moment we walked in, the hostess at the host stand was welcoming and our server Jordan was outstanding with his recommendations. I had the Chicken Parm with the vodka sauce and my wife had the blackened pork chops. We both were surprised at the large portions. The ambience was very inviting. Our only negative review would be the dessert. We wanted the chocolate cake fondue to be warmer and we thought it was too rich. We couldn’t finish it. It was delicious but way too rich for us. Overall, great value, tasty menu and great service. We can’t wait to go back.
