Best Japanese Restaurants in University Hills

The hostess acknowledged my note requesting an intimate setting which put in motion what was to be an exceptional night with my first date. The food is always phenomenal! Our server was outstanding, the food was fresh, and the way that it was presented was outstanding. I'll definitely be back again...I even secured a second date to make the night even more special : ) Thanks for a great evening!

Exceeded expectations - everything was on point from the cocktails to each of the expertly crafted dishes. Plus our waitress was fantastic and made the experience fun and exciting. Will definitely be back

Sushi is always fresh and delicious and atmosphere is lively and energetic. They had a few new menu items which included the kanpachi and matcha tiramisu. Both were outstanding.

Again, as always, the food is the star here. There is truly no better (some as good) sushi in Denver or a many, even hundreds of miles mile radius. On this particular night, the crowd was bigger and louder than usual and the service perhaps struggled a bit to keep up with the volume. Usually the ambience is a little more peaceful and the design/decor elements are quite lovely. We go back again and again for the amazing foo, that while pricey, is Incredible. As strange as it sounds for a land-locked state, we have eaten all over the world and will always hold Sushi/Izakaya Den as the gold standard.

Our chef was an absolute blast! I believe his name was Phil? He was personable, funny and related to us all at the table. My two kids had never been before and had the time of their life! The food was fantastic, flavorful and cooked exactly as we requested. Our chef continued to check with everyone to see if we were satisfied while also making us laugh. Bartender made an awesome lemon drop too. All the employees we saw were friendly and greeted us with smiles. We will definitely be returning !
