Excellent food and exceptional service from our server.

Wonderful service, our waitress was attentive and helpful. The food was exceptional. Korean prepared snapper was delicious as was the Thai curry chicken. The latter portion was huge. We always love and share the crispy tofu as appetizer.

We had an absolutely fantastic time celebrating our anniversary here. Food was impeccable and drinks were even better as Patrick made us cocktails to order. Easily one of Pittsburgh’s best experiences!

Umi is an amazing experience. Ashley was so great. Her sake recommendations were phenomenal. We were able to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and like always, the food was amazing. We are still arguing over which courses were the best. The black cod, the King, and Spanish Mackerel were astounding. Of course, the chef spoiled us with some toro for one of our eleven courses.

We had a great visit, just a little understaffed but I understand it is hard to find good restaurant workers. We had to wait a long time for drinks and for our chef to come to the table. Other than that our hibachi guy was fantastic and the food was great!
