- RRichardConnecticut •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoMy partner and I dined here for Valentines Day, and we were very happy with the experience. The staff was so polite and considerate and I could tell they were very busy. They still made time for us to feel special. We sat at the bar as we waited for our table, and the bar staff even brought us our check without having to ask for it. The waitress was Fantastic and made amazing recommendations. And the food was top notch’s. Such a lovely evening and thank you for creating such a memorable experience.More infoMax Fish - GlastonburyPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Glastonbury•4.6

We ordered fried green tomatoes, followed by chicken & ribs bbq and blackened catfish. Both were excellent, including the suggested sides. Our Mississippi mojitos were good. We also enjoyed the band (note: noise level was a 4 when the band was playing). The decor is eclectic and music themed. Our server Tee was great (is everyone in Hartford this friendly??). We’d definitely recommend Sally’s!More infoBlack-Eyed Sally'sPrice: Moderate• Regional American (Southern)• Hartford•4.3
- KKevinNew York City •10 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFood is as as usual expertly prepared On our visit so-called mission figs appetizer were not indeed mission figs (they’re black; this one was brown) and frankly a little stingy. There were four quarters of a tiny brown fig spread across a bed of about 10 arugula leaves, two large sugar encrusted walnut chunks and 3 large lumps of ricotta. Really. Just 1 fig cut into quarters. Not sure what the problem was, but if the kitchen stock was low, why not just take them off the menu until availability improved. Anyway, just a disappointment We had an early reservation since the noise level here can be problematic. Nevertheless the waitress seemed too tired to be at work that late afternoon. Normally we have great experiences here.More infoPeppercorns GrillPrice: Expensive• Italian• Hartford•4.7
- CCandyNew York City •22 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had a wonderful pre-theater meal at Trumbull Kitchen. Megan was the hostess when we arrived and was terrifically accommodating on our request for a table in a specific location. The service was excellent, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. Everything tasted as beautifully as it looked. It's a wonderful place to go for a drink or dinner before the theater. My only less-than-enthusiastic comment was that the restaurant was very loud made worse by music playing way too loudly in my opinion. It makes it a challenge to have good conversation over dinner.More infoTrumbull Kitchen - HartfordPrice: Moderate• American• Hartford•4.6
- JJessicaGreater Boston •8 reviews5.0Dined on 26 Oct 2024Service was excellent even though we were told they were short a few servers. Food was excellent, especially the original wings. Just a few items were unavailable, but no big deal. When my daughter’s food came out with cheese (when we asked for no cheese) they were very apologetic and offered to remake it. Overall a very good experience.More infoBj's Restaurant & Brewhouse - ManchesterPrice: Moderate• American• South Windsor•4.3
