Best Chinese Restaurants in The Annex

Service did not match up to fantastic food. Two manager appearing people were making circles but not engaged, except to large parties. Our waitstaff forgot one of the courses we ordered and never offered additional beverages. Has a lot of potential to be true fine dining, but needs work on hospitality.

Mimi Chinese is a fantastic dining experience, offering authentic and flavorful dishes with a modern touch. The ambiance is stylish yet welcoming, and the service is attentive and knowledgeable. Dailo is always delicious but this time we did winterlicious with a group of 4 - the waiter was smart about it and pre-emptively suggested everyone "ordering" a different item, but brought it out in portions enough for everyone, so that we ended up being able to eat the entire menu! Great value! Would definitely do it again.

The food is consistently delicious and they were able to adapt dishes for food allergies and lifestyle. In addition, the people working at Sunny’s are attentive and so nice! Don’t miss out on a great place!

5 star experience. You won’t find a cleaner location and better hospitality & service anywhere in the city. Portions are delicious and generous. This is a staple whenever I visit Toronto. Servers Mary & Shi were fabulous.
