Best Australian Restaurants in Alexandra Headland

This was our return visit after a challenging 1st visit on Valentines Day. we were greeted by name and escorted to our table in a nice quiet corner with a view of the street. Our drinks order was taken quickly and brought to our table. I ordered the Squid appetiser and my husband the Scallops and neither disappointed. The flavour of the scallops with the mango puree was excellent, and the squid was cooked to perfection My main was the perch crumbed fish with fries and salad and my hubby ordered the eye fillet. The fries were done exactly as I ordered, extra brown and hot. They remained hot until the end of our meal. they were excellent. My fish was extremely tasty and nicely cooked and flavourful - I couldn't eat it all so was given a take out along with a fresh piece of lemon to enjoy it with at home. My husbands eye fillet was cooked to perfection medium rare and very tender. He enjoyed the braised green beans sauted in garlic as well. thank you for acknowledging our distress from our first visit and asking us to return as this visit was enjoyable from start to finish. We will return again - to once again try the prawn dishes and enjoy a dessert that we had no room for at this visit.

The service was excellent and done with a smile. Food was very very nice.

A dish of whole baby barramundi was amazing for the fish - de boned as good as any top restaurant and deep fried - bordering on exceptional however the rest of the plate left a lot to be desired - salad with burn your mouth chilli and no salad dressing and a ring of do called jasmine rice was dry and flavourless. How do you score such an up and down dish?

Great food very tasty and beautiful drinks was a lovely night and will definitely be back again .
