Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Elk Grove Village

We had a reservation for 2 people at 6pm. However, I’m not sure why they even let you make a reservation because they paid no mind to it - never even asked for a name. We didn’t sit until about 6:40pm which was slightly frustrating because we had plans after dinner for my date’s birthday, but I guess now we know. Once sat, the service and the food were great. The drinks took longer to arrive than the appetizer (about 15 mins), but all the food came out hot and the portions were large. It was a very busy night and you could tell the staff was working hard.

Went for lunch and took advantage of the Restaurant Week menu. Gave us a chance to try different dishes at a great price. Great service, food and atmosphere.

The food as usual was fresh and very tasty. The vegetable omelette I ordered was fluffy and delicious 😋. I highly recommend this place for lunch and dinner.

These days, with inflation driving up the cost of everything, it’s hard to find a good deal. But at Shabu-Yo, you get unlimited fresh vegetables, beef, pork, and seafood—plus a great selection of ready-made dishes and desserts. On top of that, the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The overall value you get is well worth the price. Highly recommended!
