Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Lake Mary

Food was delicious. We were a party of 10 celebrating my mom’s birthday and everyone enjoyed every single bite, no food leftovers lol!!! The service was outstanding, waiters were polite and friendly. Definitely coming back!

We were seated almost immediately after checking in. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was relaxed but fun. Our server Brandon was excellent and great with my allergy. The cocktails me and my wife got were delicious and the food was nice and hot as well as cooked to perfection.

My husband and I VERY much enjoyed our recent experience at the Boat House. We sat outside and truly enjoyed the beautiful sunset and watching the amphicar and pontoon boats floating by. Our waitress, Rebecca, was delightful, very attentive and never made us feel rushed. As an appetizer, I thoroughly enjoyed the BEST Coconut Shrimp I have EVER had. Loved the sweet,tangy, little spicy sauce which was perfect with it. MY Crab Cake entree was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Almost ALL crab with just a tiny bit of filler. My husband LOVED his VERY tender Filet Mignon Sliders (3) seasoned expertly with garlic butter & flavorful Truffle Fries. Fries were crispy and we loved the abundant truffle flavor. In addition, my husband thought his Hamburger was a real standout. (It was both brisket and ground beef combined & was very juicy.) The Key Lime Pie was a show stopper, delicious and huge! Thank you for a very memorarble night we will be talking about for many months to come!

This is always my family's go-to for a celebratory dinner or even just a nice evening together. The steak and seafood selections are both impeccable. We typically order the lobster tail as an appetizer to share and rotate between the filet, ribeye, or ahi tuna for entrees. The entrees are worth every penny. I think some of the sides may be slightly overvalued, but they are family-style and provide you with plenty to share or take home. It is a classic old steakhouse vibe with darker lighting, deep red cushioned booths, and an excellent piano bar area. If you are seated near the piano it can get pretty loud, but the other areas of the restaurant have a more moderate noise volume. Finally, one cannot say enough about the service received at Christner's. We are always taken care of by personable staff and the waiters always make thoughtful menu/drink suggestions. If you are looking for excellent quality steak or fish, a classic steakhouse vibe, and a lively, celebratory atmosphere, Christner's is your place! I think there is something to be said of a steakhouse that is mostly full every night of the week!

This was our first visit. We wanted to come here during the magical dining month, but couldn’t fit it in so got to come here for a Tuesday night visit, which was surprisingly busy for Tuesday night, but everything was excellent. The food, the drinks, setting, just great.
