Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Yonkers

My son and his girlfriend had 7pm reservations, his mother and I 9pm, the day after Valentine’s to avoid the madness, good choice, we had a wonderful greeting by the Waite staff and were seated immediately, our waiter was Lenz , he informed us of all the specials, and we ordered, everything was spot on, I had Lobster Bisque and Berkshire pork chops, my wife had a Pasta dish, we enjoyed everything, especially seeing the kids there and the waiter complementing how nice they were, we have been there before and will be back

Amazing food, amazing drinks and amazing staff. Highly recommend for a date night or excellent meal with family and friends.

Sensational dining experience. The food was outstanding; particularly the salads, steaks and sides. Huge portions, quality ingredients, top-drawer preparation and all well-priced. The service was outstanding. We never felt rushed. All our questions were answered professionally, courteously and to our satisfaction. As for ambiance, the music was a bit too loud and monotonous, but, unlike most restaurants today, you could certainly carry on a conversation with no difficulty. All in all, we had a throughly great meal at One Rare. We will certainly return.

The food was amazing. Very bright, playful, and flavorful for this year’s orchid show. I had the Salmon cooked medium and it had a luscious fullness with a beautiful crispy skin. If you do dessert try the nube de guava. The cute trifle will definitely make you smile.

The food and service were outstanding as we were fortunate to have Peter himself serving us. We started with the grilled octopus which was tender and so flavorful. Hubby had the scallops with risotto, which he loved. I had the veal ala Peter. I would highly recommend this dish with its complex flavors and tender veal. We finished with the homemade Tiramisu, the best we have ever had. Our entire experience was memorable. Would highly recommend.
