Entering the Saloon, a family owned restaurant since it opened in 1967 is a bit like stepping into Philadelphia's past. Dark oak paneling, shiny brass and authentic local antiques create a warm congenial and casual atmosphere.     An outstanding experience as always. Whether I bring family, clients or business partners, The Moshulu food and service is 5 stars. As usual the service, smiles and promptness is perfect. "YASMINE" our server made my business partners very comfortable and brought top dining service to a new level. Professional, confident and well learned about the menu (including the specials) there was no doubt what we ordered would be spot on. Our hostesses greeted us with smiles and seated us promptly, well dressed and proper. Hats of to the chef, spectacular food prepared perfectly, and the dessert was to die for. It felt great to tell the manager how awesome their team is. He does a fine job keeping up on things. Whether you're on a long trip up the coast or local do NOT miss this Jewel, the ambience alone will "Awe" you. They have plenty of seating, and even an outside upper deck (weather permitting) Make reservations to assure you have a seat. And take care of those those taking care of you, the world doesnt like cheapskate...

    "It was absolutely amazing!!! Highly recommended!!! P.S. Yesterday, we celebrated our anniversary with friends at an incredible restaurant that doubled as an opera house! The professional performers blew us away with their talent. We loved opera. As opera enthusiasts, we were particularly impressed by the stunning performance of Eugene Onegin by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, sung in Russian. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience.

    I haven’t been here in a few years and decided to return as I’ve always loved the ambiance. I remember the food as being good but not excellent. This time it was excellent as was the seevice and everything about our meal. It seems they have really stepped things up a notch since I was last there. I’ll definitely be back again soon!

    Consistently EXCELLENT for 35 years. Never had a bad experience. Parking is easy, service is always great and the food is as good as anywhere in the world. Never disappointing...except when we can't get in!
