Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Banff

We loved it so much we came back the next day!! We were able to be seated in Mathieu’s section again and he was spectacular…again!! Here is a man who truly loves his job and it shows in EVERYTHING he does! From the wine and cocktail recommendations to all of the food on the menu! We wanted to try something different than the night before and we were impressed yet again! We shared the Winter Bruschetta which was so full of flavour! I never would have thought of using butternut squash for this but it was incredible! Even the flavour of the toasted bread was great! We then had the Roasted Chicken Breast and the Beef Short Rib…bravo! So delicious! The way the flavours were combined to create these dishes was fantastic!! Truly, this restaurant is a gem! We are complete foodies and are really picky when we go out and this place just checks off all of the boxes! Next time we are back in Banff we will for sure be back!! Grazie mille❤️

We were a party of 9 adults - service and food was great - we were seated, however, in the dining room with large parties of families with lots of little kids jumping around like manics - we should have been seated in the bar area - if I would have known, I would have requested it.

Great dinner and beautiful setting.

Isabelle as always took excellent care of us and made some great suggestions. The Rustica Cesar Salad definitely best in Canmore as were the Scallops Appie. Two of us had the Elk Tomahawk which were juicy and cooked perfectly. And Two had Ribeye’s also very good. Our friends were in the wine business and thought the prices & selection were incredibly good value. The crackling fireplace adds a beautiful ambiance to an already lovely atmosphere. As usual Isabelle made the evening fun ! See you soon !

Great food, great service, lively place. Even though it was a weekday evening in the winter, the place was full - no doubt because of the restaurant's reputation as a great place to eat. Drinks were also creative and flavourful.
