Best Contemporary German Restaurants in Gaggenau

What a cute place with quaint decor. I was greeted so kindly and the warm welcome lattes throughout dinner. I had the one-piece trout and the fried potatoes as they are well known for. Just as promised- no bones! Great place directly across from the bridge. Only reason for 4 star is because it was expensive- soup, trout and 1 gin/tonic was 60€

Schrieder's is in the Hilton Heidelberg hotel, so it's convenient for those with a room. However, as hotel restaurants go, it was very nice with a charming atmosphere, comfortable furniture and good food. The service was most likely the best part of my rating. Our server was genuinely kind and experienced. Food was delicious, although there were not too many options on the menu, and it was also not available online. It was rather pricey but I am not too familiar with the area. Overall, a good option for anyone visiting Heidelberg

Wonderful welcome as always. Imaginative food beautifully presented. Paired thoughtfully with a broad variety of wines in the tasting menu. Our annual Christmas treat when revisiting Stuttgart.
