Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Skippack

Short ribs were superb. Craft cocktails not so much. New bartender was struggling. Outstanding service. It is quite loud, but that didn’t bother us too much as we were in a corner.

Our server Brandon made our experience exceptional. He provided us with food and drink recommendations and did not steer us wrong. Two of us at our table immensely enjoyed the Romarin specialty cocktail. Four of us shared three hors d’ouevres - the charcuterie, the mushroom tart and the crispy artichokes along with the beet salad. The serving sizes of each were perfect for the 4 of us to share. Our water glasses were continually refilled and the service was excellent. Two at our table had the Saturday special - poultry feuillete - an elevated chicken pot pie with mushrooms and black truffle oil. I sampled the special and the sauce was superb! I ordered the Moules Frites and another had the veal escalope. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food, the atmosphere and didn’t feel rushed. The interior of the restaurant was decorated for the holidays and it was a warm, welcoming environment. We completed our meal by sharing the moelleux au chocolat - a warm chocolate cake with hazelnuts and praline sorbet…delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant for the quality of the food and the inviting atmosphere.

Terrific waiter Les. Delicious food. Candle in our birthday cake. We go all the time. Our favorite restaurant. Reservation always honored. Table always ready. No waiting. Beautiful decor.

We always enjoy dining at the Farm House. The cuisine is outstanding (we had the filet mignon and the pan-seared scallops, both of which were cooked and presented perfectly), and the service exemplary. The ONLY downside to the Farm House is the noise level. Being a place with 8 foot ceilings and no noise abatement tiles or other mitigation, it gets LOUD...but that is not enough to keep us from returning. Perhaps the owners/management can install some ceiling tiles or some other minimally invasive product to keep the noise from bouncing off those hard walls and ceilings.

Tabula Gardens is magical from the second you find the sign pointing you along the outdoor seating to enter the restaurant. Everyone is there to ensure that you are enjoying a wonderful experience. Every morsel of food was flavored to provide a symphony of delight. I can't say enough about the service and how they make you feel so special. Joseph, our lead server, made sure everything that arrived was to our liking. He is such a extraordinary server! The food was amazing! I cannot wait to return to Philly, so I can experience the wonders of Talula's Garden.
